Fund Raising Opportunities
Scrip (Gift Cards)Begin purchasing scrip today to benefit the Building Fund! You purchase scrip (retailer's gift cards basically) at face value. The church has been able to purchase them at a discount. The difference goes to the Building Fund. Retailers such as Barnes & Noble, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Borders, Dick's, DSW Shoes, Footlocker, Gap, JC Penney, K Mart, Land's End, Linens 'N' Things, Marshalls, Old Navy, Payless Shoes and Staples participate. Use scrip for your own shopping as well as giving it as gifts. Every purchase of scrip benefits the Building Fund. See Debbie Velencia to purchase your scrip during Fellowship Hour. Giant & Weis SupermarketsIf you shop at Giant and/or Weis and have not yet participated in this program, give it a try. It is no cost to use but does increase the Building Fund. Just remember to bring your check made payable to St. Matthew with "Building Fund - Giant or Weis" in the memo section.
