Youth Group

Waiting Tables at the Christmas Bazaar Dinner

“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith and in purity.” 1 Timothy 5:4

The parish Youth Group gives teens and tweens in the parish opportunities for fellowship and service. Its goal is to provide opportunities for youth to put their knowledge of our Orthodox faith into action while building relationships and having fun! Youth group service projects and activities include:

  • Preparing bagged lunches for a local crisis shelter

  • Collecting winter coats donated by parishioners and delivering them to the Warm Coats & Warm Hearts Drive

  • Volunteering at events such as the church festival and church yard sale

  • Waiting and bussing tables at parish community dinners

  • Bowling, movie nights, etc.

Talks led by Father Constantine and lay leaders in the church focus on Bible lessons and incorporating the teachings of the church into everyday life. Membership is open to youth ages 10 and older. For more information contact Bobbie Galuska at or Vicki Moyer at
