Loaves & Fishes Donation Items Needed in Lent and throughout the Year!

   Since the start of the Loaves & Fishes collection on 4 Dec. 2010 to 5 Mar. 2023, the parish donated over 3 Tons of food and personal items to the Howard County Food Bank. That’s an average of 9.7 lbs per week! In turn, the Food Bank distributes food to our neighbors in need through 9 local food pantries. There is a continuing shortage of the following items: Feminine hygiene products, personal care items: toothbrushes, toothpaste, hairspray, toilet paper, facial tissue, shampoo & conditioner, razors, shaving cream, soap; baby diapers (larger sizes), wipes, infant formula, baby/toddler food, pet food, pasta & pasta sauce

To participate, just bring your donation to church and drop it off in the bin which is emptied each Sunday.

The Loaves & Fishes Ministry:

• Is an on-going collection of food and personal items which are donated to the Howard County Food Bank
• Has donated over 6,000 pounds of food and other items since December 10, 2010
• Parishioners participate in the Loaves & Fishes collection weekly by dropping off personal care items,  and canned and dry goods items in the collection bin.
