Prayer Chain

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

Since 1994, the parish Prayer Chain has been providing support to those who request prayerful assistance for themselves or for others. The subject of prayer requests can be for a variety of different situations:

  • Health

  • Job

  • Personal relationships

  • Natural disasters

  • National & international events

  • Are not limited to benefit Orthodox Christians

Each request is summarized and sent via email to Prayer Chain members who are asked to pray for each situation.  Anyone can be a member of the Prayer Chain, including non-parishioners. Additionally:

  • Communal prayer is powerful

  • God clearly knows what is needed and it is important to remember that His will be done

To submit prayer requests, contact either Denise Royal at 301 596-0997, or Fr. Constantine at 240-755-0324.
