Grassroots Urgent Needs Drive
Our Parish has been invited to help out with the Snowden Overlook Community Association (SOCA) Grassroots Donation Drive, which is taking place from now through June 18. The Grassroots Shelter is currently housing a number of children with their families, and the focus of this drive is on food that can be cooked/heated in a microwave. The urgently needed items that have been specifically requested are :
- Cup of Noodles
- Mac and Cheese Cups (cups only - not boxes)
- Pasta Sauce
- New Bath Towels
Please bring all donations to the box in the Narthex labeled "Grassroots Drive" by Sunday, June 14. If you have questions about the specifics of this drive, please contact Mat. Beth Jubinski who is connected with SOCA and will be making the delivery of the items. If you have questions about Grassroots in general and our parish involvement with/for them, please contact Kate Richer.
